Bite sized life admin - because I know that you are busy, so I want to give you some quick tasks that take about five minutes.

Photos of you

People who love you like having photos of you, and knowing things about you.

Okay, not a revolutionary statement, but we need to be reminded. Have you ever tried to find a photo of your parents or grandparents, just them? Have you ever been a funeral and suddenly learned things about the deceased person, someone who was close to you, that you never knew? Things you wish you knew when they were alive?

People who love you want photos of you and they want to know you, they want to know your stories.

 

Today’s bite-sized admin

My bite-sized #lifeadmin for today is to take a photo of yourself, just you, looking the way that you look everyday, doing something that you like. Then send an email to your children with a copy of the photo and a brief description of what you are doing, and why you like it. If you like you can send a copy to others in your life too. These little things make up who we are, and yet they can be forgotten or lost in the search for ‘more important’ information about big events in our lives.

So take a photo and send an email, you have taken care of today’s bite-sized life admin.

Email to your children?

If you are new to my #bitesizedlifeadmin posts then you missed my post about setting up an email account for your children. You can click on the button below to read all of it.

In short, you should set up an email account for your child, in their full name, with a great password. You can then email them everyday information, the sort of information that can get forgotten and will be valuable later in life, but it is also the sort of information that their carers would need if anything ever happened to you. Also, it means your kids have an email account reserved for them with a professional name.
