We know that Estate Planning is about so much more than Wills. You could have the best, most ‘legal’ document with well drafted clauses but if it doesn’t connect with your own situation then the fancy words mean nothing.

Estate Planning is more than Wills. If you prepare your Wills with us then we will look at your entire situation and make sure that everything is understood. I also understand that dealing with all of this can be quite overwhelming, you want to ‘just do a Will’ and I keep asking you about things that have nothing to do with Wills. That is why I have created a book to help you to move through the process at your own pace.

 

The problem

The problem is that most people who haven’t personally been an Executor don’t understand what it is like to do that job.

The problem is that handling your Estate isn’t like this at all, there are many more things that your Executor needs to deal with, and many things that fall outside of the Will, or are partly inside of the Will and partly outside of it.

While I appreciate that proper Estate Planning can be overwhelming, I also don’t think that you are going to do it “later”. I think that you need to do all of these things now, while we are thinking about your Estate. If you don’t these tasks will go onto that to do list, with all the other non-urgent life admin.
